Dear Reverend Kris,
Living out of town was a concern for us in being able to find the
right person in Rochester to officiate our ceremony. As first
encounters go, our first meeting with you was all the indication we
needed to know that we had chosen the right person to marry us.
Your warmth and approachability soothed our nerves, and you helped
us to think about the magnitude and importance of the future we
were creating together. Reflecting on that momentous day in our
lives, we want to thank you for facilitating the ceremony of our
union. It was such a beautiful day, and we will always be thankful
for your presence.
Sincerely,
Brad and Erica Morse
Rev Kris,
We cannot thank you enough for our ceremony. It was
absolutely perfect. The ceremony truly encompassed and
demonstrated our love for each other. It was so very personal
and it allowed us to share our story with our closest friends and
family. The ceremony itself was very unique and so many
different people told us that it was a beautiful and personal
ceremony, unlike something that they have ever seen before our
wedding. We are so thankful that you decided to be part of
our special day with us. We feel truly blessed and are so
very thankful!
With love,
Chrystal & Greg Corbett
Reverend Kris,
Thank you so much for the wonderful ceremony you performed for our wedding! There was a white dove that flew up from the trees into the sky as you read the poem, and it was an absolutely wonderful day! You are very nice, and we hope to see you again sometime soon!
Thank you so much!

We simply can't thank you
enough for the lovely and
wonderful service you gave
and all the helpful advice you offered during the planning process.
When we began planning the wedding, the most important thing to us
was to have
something that was not
cookie-cutter, but an honest and open expression of our feelings
and love. The whole ceremony was truly exactly that for us, in
large part due to your delivery and tone and presence. Your
services really
are a beautiful memory of
our day! So many of our friends and families had the nicest things
to say about you, they remarked that your style was so inviting and
well stated, quite professional yet wholly warm. It was especially
meaningful to have your open- mindedness to let us work with our
own writings. I know when I send the video to my overseas relatives
they will be touched to see the Tea Ceremony and our Chinese
culture honered in such a simple and classy
way!
Brian and I can hardly express our gratitude for everything Reverend Kris did to make our wedding day so incredibly unique, personal, beautiful, spiritual and even incredibly calm. We were coming in from out of town the Friday before the wedding, so most of our planning was over emails and the telephone—and it was reassuringly comfortable from the beginning. All we really knew was that we wanted our day to express our feelings, and that we had to make sure that our ceremony was heartfelt and special for my own artistic, multi-ethnic and fully embracing type of spirituality, my fiancé's almost agnostic sensibilities, and we wanted to be inclusive and respectful of his family’s very traditional Southern Baptist beliefs as well. That might sound tough, but Reverend Kris can perform any one of those ceremonies, or in our case do all of them at the same time! We didn’t have time or want to start from scratch but we wanted to be unique. We were able to use the guidance from her personal emails to us, and then use her website which made it simple to come up with the right format where we picked among her suggestions, personalized it, and finished the whole ceremony within one night. It felt so right that we teared up when we first read it.
On the actual wedding day we arrived at the site so very nervous, but she had our music playing and she said all the right things to get us calm and then keep us calm and going along with the current of the day. She guided us through our ceremony at the same time that she performed it almost as if she’d done a million just like it… and so had we. She was a wonderful presence and a real resource from start to finish. We really felt like our special wedding day was very lucky and blessed and all of our dear family and friends experienced a lot more than any of us hoped for. Thank you so much,
Maria and
Brian

We were so excited to find Kris to do perform our ceremony, and it was even better than we expected. We were able to create a very personal ceremony that reflected who we are and combined tradition with fun. Kris had many wonderful suggestions, and she helped us pull together all the things we wanted to include and made the ceremony cohesive. She even took our last minute suggestion to add something fun to the ceremony, and made it work perfectly. Our friends and family were all impressed, and we felt very lucky to have put together such a beautiful ceremony in such a short period of time. We could not have done it without you Kris! Many, many thanks!

Kris,
Over the years of becoming
closer friends, you've managed to inspire me in many different
ways. When we met seven years ago I never imagined that you would
perform my wedding ceremony. You have made this a memorable and
special day for both of us. Bruce and I appreciate the time you
spent working on our ceremony to accommodate our wants and needs.
We were grateful for the suggestions you added when we were usure
of our choices. Your creative writing tied together our
Scripture selections, making our wedding ceremony perfect from
beginning to end.Thank you so much for all your help, your
patience, your kindness, and a beautiful ceremony that we will
always remember. But most of all, thank you for being our
friend.
Love Always,
Bruce and LeAnna Meyers
Dear Reverend
Kris,
I really wanted you to know how
much we appreciated your presence on your wedding day. You were so
calm, so positive, and so supportive, that every time I got nervous
I felt like if I looked at you, I instantly felt better. We have
received many, many compliments on both the ceremony itself and on
you specifically - people said things like they sometimes tune out
during wedding ceremonies but that at ours they listened to every
single word, that it was the most beautiful ceremony they'd ever
been to, and that they felt it was a true commitment ceremony. We
feel so lucky to have had you as our officiant.
Thank you again and feel better
soon.
Sincerely,
Amanda and Matt
Dean and I wanted to thank
you so much for such an absolutely storybook ceremony. I think
between the three of us (and God giving us that absolutely perfect
fall day and much more) we really put together a ceremony that
expressed mine and Dean’s feelings for each other and what it all
means to us in our life/past, present and future. And we did just
that and touched so many others too! We wanted to thank you for
your own personal touches and the way you gave the ceremony—it was
so beautiful and meaningful. We have received so many “thank yous”
from people who said they took so much away from our ceremony. We
were told by many that it was such a unique and eye opening
ceremony and that they were surprised at their own thoughts and
emotions during the ceremony. (I don’t think there was a dry eye in
the area!) Annnnddd could you believe my “Mr. Macho Man” – he stole
my tears from me! We couldn’t have done it without you—again, thank
you so much.
Rev Kris,
Thank you for helping us to
create the perfect wedding. It meant so much to us that our little
sisters could not only read, but actually write their reading. I
can’t tell you how many compliments we’ve received; most have said
it was the nicest wedding they’ve attended. Even my traditional
Catholic family had only positive things to say. We love that we
were able to combine tradition with individuality. Thank you again
for all that you did.

Dear Reverend
Kris,
I just wanted to thank you again
for your inspiring words at my daughter and son-in-laws wedding.
You spoke such loving words, and along with their beautiful vows,
the wedding ceremony was very emotional for me. Thank-you for being
so thoughtful. I'll remember October 1, 2006 forever. Thank-you
again.
Sincerely,
Kathy Sinclair - Mother of the
Bride
Rev. Kris,
From the moment we found your
website to our first meeting, we knew you were the one we wanted to
bring our families together as one. You combined the beauty of our
“chosen spot” with your words making it a perfect, memorable day
for all of us. Thank you!
Hi Rev Kris!
We really wanted to thank you for such an absolutely wonderful
ceremony on July 11th at Casa Larga. It was everything that we had
hoped for and more. We received numerous compliments about the
entire wedding, but particularly the ceremony. We heard compliments
about how personalized the ceremony was, saying our vows at the
same time, the rose exchange, as well as the birds. The ceremony is
something that we will cherish forever. In fact, we already have
our roses from the rose exchange preserved and displayed in our
living room. I have attached just a few pictures from the wedding.
I thoroughly enjoy the one from the ceremony with the rays of sun
shining down on us....that doesn't happen at every wedding! Thanks
again so much for everything. You helped to make an incredibly
special day in our lives a truly memorable and heart felt
one.
Cordially,
Chris and Brooke

Good Morning Reverend Kris-

Francesca and Alex Flansburg
Dear Rev.
Kris,
It is with much gratitude that I
write this note to you. After Mike proposed and we began to think
about what a wedding meant to both of us, we decided that we wanted
the focal point of our wedding to be the words spoken during the
ceremony. It is then, by fate, that we stumbled upon your services.
The words were important to us because we wanted to convey to our
friends and family what marriage meant toboth of us. A traditional
ceremony would just not do. Your ability to take our feeling and
sentiment and turn it into our dream was a true
gift.
Mike’s mother and step-father were so moved by the ceremony that afterwards they pulled you aside and asked you to renew their vows right there on the spot. With out the slightest hesitation you agreed. Watching them renew their commitment on the same day we declared ours is one of our most treasured memories from the day.
Thank You so much for allowing
us to express our true feeling and for being so willing to go with
the flow of the day. Your contribution to our special day is
greatly appreciated.
